Favicon
A Favicon (or favorite icon) is a small image used to represent a website or webpage.
Favicons are most commonly seen next to the title of a webpage, in a browser’s tab:
Favicons can be displayed in a wide range of sizes, depending on the user’s browser and device. Developers may choose to provide Favicons in multiple sizes – optimized for each of these platforms – if they wish. There are many popular tools which will create these different Favicons automatically (Google for “favicon generator”).
