Link rot
Link rot is the process where older content on the web tends to become unavailable, resulting in links to that content no longer working.
There are two ways to combat link rot:
- Avoid removing content from your websites. If content is out of date, redirect it to more appropriate new content.
- Update links that point to unavailable content.
